It’s getting a lot of attention, so I thought I’d settle your fears. Everyone knows about the dreaded weight loss plateua. That place you get to , feeling pretty great about your progress, and then comes a day, a week, a month, where abosolutely nothing happens. You try everything, from working out more to focusing on your diet, and absolutely nothing seems to work. We’ve all been there, and let me tell you that it’s no fun. There are ways around this weight loss plateau, and with the Jen Fe patch you pretty much don’t even have to worry about it.

One of the best ways to avoid the weight loss plateau is to vary your workouts and your diet. You’ve got to keep things fresh in your life for your own mental health, and your body is no different. It needs a change in routine and diet to keep it on it’s toes. After a month at the gym hitting the same treadmill or weights, change it up a bit and do something completly different. Instead of doing the same treadmill you’ve been on for the past month, try the stair climber or row boat. Instead of using the same weight machines, try to go with the free weights or take a weight class.

If you change your workouts every few weeks, you will have an easier time of avoiding that weight loss plateau. Your diet is the same way. Keep an eye on things, because if you’re losing weight you’re also going to have to re-evaluate your calorie intake. You might need to take in less calories to continue to lose weight. Recalculate your calorie intake every 30 days to keep your weight loss goals within reach.

Sometimes, the best thing that you can do is get away from the gym to lose weight. Maybe you need to get into Yoga for a change in the routine, or perhaps a bicycle club that challenges you to be a weekend warrior. If you can keep your workout routine fresh every month, and stay on top of your calorie intake, you’ll definitely have a better chance of avoiding that plateau.

If you’re wearing the Jen Fe weight loss patch, you’ll have some extra help in that department, and the plateau will not be so difficult to avoid. Check it out at

The holidays have come and gone, and hopefully you survived and stuck to your weight loss plans. If you haven’t taken some time to check out the Jen Fe weight loss patch, why not start the New Year with a weight loss product that truly works. I’m not much of a sales person, but I can tell you from experience that this patch made getting through the holidays a lot easier.

Being overweight is not only depressing at times, it’s really unhealthy. I never truly understood all the health problems that accompany obesity until I started looking at weight loss products, and comparing the ones that sounded interesting to the ones that just wanted my money. It was the Jen Fe patch and the website that inspired me to learn more and dig deeper into the health issues that accompany certain weight sizes. So, I thought today I’d share a little bit of what I’ve learned through my journey to better health.

This is taken straight from the Jen Fe weight loss patch information stuff that I received when I was doing my research. I’d thought that I’d pass it on to you guys because I found it incredibly interesting:

“Obesity is a growing concern in the United States; overweight rates have doubled among children and tripled amount adolescents. This increases the number of years that they are exposing themselves to dangerous health risks associated with obesity.

Here are 20 diseases or conditions that can be attributed to obesity: (actually, we’re just going to go over 10 for today)

  1. Diabetes, a disorder where the pancreas is not producing enough or sometimes not any insulin. Diabetes can lead to a whole host of other medical issues and obesity is one of the main causes.
  2. Cancer has many different forms and types; many of them could be prevented with more attention to eating healthily and avoiding obesity.
  3. Congestive heart failure is a condition in which your heart can’t pump enough blood to your body’s other organs.
  4. Enlarged heart is another condition where the muscle of your heart becomes larger due to being overworked, which naturally happens if you are overweight.
  5. Pulmonary embolism is a sometimes fatal blockage of an artery. Being overweight causes most people to reduce activity, and after time lack of activity can result in an embolism.
  6. Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a condition in which cysts develop in your ovaries. These can burst, causing even further problems.
  7. Gastro-esophageal reflux disease happens when stomach acid and juices flow from your stomach back up into your esophagus. It is common in overweight people.
  8. Fatty liver disease is a reversible condition in which large pockets of fat accumulate in liver cells.
  9. A hernia is caused when the hole in the diaphragm weakens and enlarges.
  10. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to develop or maintain an erection, which can be cause by a medical problem due to obesity.”

It’s pretty serious stuff, and that’s just the first 10 of the 20! I remember when I read this list for the first time I was so skeptical, but then I did a little more research online, and spoke with my doctor about these health risks, and he stood behind each one of them. I knew that being overweight affected by health and well-being, but I guess I never really considered how damaging it could be to not only myself, but my entire family.

Anyways, enough with the depressing speech about these awful diseases and conditions. My point is that all of this can be changed, and it has already began to change for me thanks to some help from the Jen Fe patch. There’s an entirely different list of health benefits that comes with this product, but I’ll give you that information on another day. Head over to for more information about the product that I use.

Well, we’ve talked about the Jen Fe Patch quite a bit now, and you hopefully know how special and effective it is as a weight loss patch. I thought that I’d let you know about some things that are going on within the industry, and how you can get involved. It’s that time of year; the time when New Year’s Resolutions are made with conviction and diets are promised. You’ll commit yourself to losing weight in 2010, to eating right and exercising, to being dedicated to this resolution unlike earlier years. But, in the end, the resolution will fall by the wayside within two months and you’ll be right back to where you started with.

So, how do you actually stick with this 2010 New Year’s weight loss resolution? My advice; check out the Jen Fe patch that has helped me along the way, and follow these steps:

Stick to a plan. If you are a visual learner, then it might be best to get yourself a white board or chart where you can keep track of your workouts and your meals, and visually see how you are sticking to your goals. If you can have a daily calorie goal, or perhaps a daily workout goal, then you will achieve far better results than if you just ‘wing it.’

If you can see where you are progressing and where you need to improve, it will be easier for you to stay on track and motivated. If nothing else, taking the time to write down your daily accomplishments and tracking your progress will allow you some time for yourself to reflect on the day.

Do not sabotage yourself! Weight loss doesn’t happen overnight, and making a New Year’s weight loss resolution must come with a reality check. Don’t expect to lose a bunch of weight during January so that you can take it easy the rest of the year. Be realistic with your goals, and allow for the Jen Fe patch to work it’s magic. If you jump in head first without considering what your body can endure, and what you can easily manage, then you will be setting yourself up for failure.

The biggest mistakes that everyone makes with their New Year’s weight loss resolutions are unrealistic goals. If you haven’t been to the gym in a while, pace yourself. I can’t stress this enough. Do not expect for your New Year’s resolution to magically happen during the first month of 2010.

Maintain a healthy diet throughout the year. Instead of completely changing your diet between December 31 and January 1st, ease yourself into a new lifestyle of healthy eating. Once again, this is an area where you can easily sabotage yourself. Be realistic with your eating goals, and take your time with making the right eating decisions. Do not eat like a pig on New Year’s Eve because you know that your diet will completely change on New Year’s Day. That is completely unrealistic and will hinder your weight loss resolution.

With the Jen Fe patch, you are allowed to give yourself some room for mistakes. It will take some time to learn how to change your eating habits for the better, and you’ll need that time to readjust your mindset and your cravings. Be realistic!

Your New Year’s weight loss resolution will be kept this year. It can be stuck to and you will lose weight, but you have to be realistic with your goals and your abilities. If I’ve said it once, I’ve said it a million times, do not sabotage yourself! This is the greatest and most common mistake that we all make, and it can so easily be avoided.

Good luck!  For more information about the Jen Fe weight loss patch, check out

Surviving the holidays with the same belt loop as you started the holidays with is extremely difficult, even for the healthiest of individuals. It’s the time of the year when stress from family, shopping, and cooking seems to get in the way of everything. That infamous “off” day that we all take on Fridays mysteriously turns into an “off” month during the holidays, and weight loss is tossed out the window.

This year, it doesn’t have to be that way. With the Jen Fe patch, you can learn how to change your holiday habits to stay healthy and continue to lose weight, even when all odds are stacked against you. Here are a few little tips to help you stay ahead of the weight loss game this holiday season.

With the Jen Fe patch, you still need to maintain a healthy diet and exercise routine. This is paramount to all weight loss products and techniques, and when the holidays arrive it’s more crucial than ever that you continue these healthy habits. Just because family is in town does not mean that you can skimp on your workouts and eat whatever you like. Weight loss, unfortunately, just doesn’t work like that.

Try your darndest to stick to those healthy patterns that you have been trying to maintain all year long. If that means that you must excuse yourself in the mornings to take a run, than do so. Invite your friends and family to take a light jog with you. Don’t be afraid to get everyone involved in your weight loss journey this holiday season. It will inspire them and give you even more confidence.

Do not punish yourself during the holidays by baking your famous brownies, Christmas cookies or pumpkin pie and then not allow yourself a bite. Take a bite, take an entire piece. The key to getting through the holidays while watching your weight is to take everything in moderation. The Jen Fe patch is great at helping you maintain your weight through the holidays, but the best thing that you can do for yourself is allow some room for holiday food.

Remember; everything in moderation. If you want to have a slice of cake after dinner, portion your food out accordingly and take a small piece. During the holidays, the worst thing that you can do is to not eat enough, starve yourself, and then gorge when no one is looking. It’s the holidays, relax and be smart about your portions.

Take some time out for yourself. Weight loss doesn’t always involve what you do, sometimes it involves what you don’t do. If I’ve learned anything through the years, it’s that sometimes it’s truly best to take a deep breath and step outside. Perhaps a walk alone is what you need to do to clear your head and bring your focus back down to earth. Dealing with friends, family, and holiday shopping can be extremely stressful, and the last thing your body needs during this weight loss journey is to be stressed.

On top of everything else, enjoy yourself this holiday season! And for more information on the Jen Fe patch, visit today!

What’s in a word? I was once told that “weight release” is a better term to use than “weight loss”.

Apparently, “weight loss” means that I have lost my weight and am now trying to find it.

“Weight release” means that I have released my unwanted avoirdupoids into the universe and it will never come back.

As I look at my weight management history, I wonder if I sabotaged my efforts for a reason. Was I trying to find my weight again because I was uncomfortable with the thought of becoming someone I had never been? Did I have a fear of success? How would I act?

Holding on to weight means that I am comfortable hiding behind the fat belly. Nobody has to learn about the real me. I am safe.

What motivates me now is that I WANT TO BE HEALTHY.  I am tired of holding on to the back pain and the knee discomfort. I don’t want to have to take anti-inflammatories or pain killers. I want to lower my cholesterol and triglycerides as well as my blood pressure. I want to live a long, healthy life and be a great-grandmother some day! (No, I am not even a grandma yet, but I can dream can’t I?)

What are YOUR thoughts on the semantics of weight management?

Jen Fe Weight Loss Patch

Jen Fe Weight Loss patch

My Weight Loss Story

I was introduced to this product by a friend. At the time, I was in despair about my weight. I had lost 31 lbs prior to my bilateral total knee replacements and 20 lbs post surgery. My surgery date was 2/25/08.

In June 2008 I gained back 5 lbs at my daughter's wedding. In November, 2008 post-Thanksgiving I gained back an additional 31 lbs. By May, 2009 I was seriously thinking of traveling to Mexico for lapband surgery.

In August, I was introduced to the patch. I started on Sept 9, 2009 and my life hasn't been the same since. I have found that this a solution that requires time and patience. Everybody is different.

In 3 months I have lost 12 pounds, 30 inches and 12% body fat. I have gone down 2 sizes from a tight 24 (pants) to a 20 and from 3X to a well fitting 1X in tops. Best of all, my knees aren't as stiff and sore as they were post-surgery.
